As part of their plan for growth they are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director to join their leadership team and drive business growth to new heights. As the Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial strategy and driving revenue growth for our events portfolio. You will be responsible for identifying and securing strategic partnerships, developing new business opportunities, and managing key client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in commercial leadership and a deep understanding of the events industry. Key responsibilities include:Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth.Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships and sponsorships to enhance our events.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of events.Prepare and present regular reports on commercial performance to senior management.Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and services.We are looking to engage with individuals that can demonstrate the following skills and experience:Proven experience in a senior commercial role within either the events, entertainment or sports industriesStrong track record of securing high-value partnerships and sponsorships.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute commercial strategies.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a sales team.Results-oriented with a proven ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets.Understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape in the events industry.This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation that has ambitious plans for the future.
