Commercial Director

The group is looking to recruit a experienced Managing Surveyor/Commercial Director to jointly lead the construction team and workalongside the wider Aitch Group departments. The groups constructiondepartment is in the early stages of development with a good pipelineof work coming this year and into next. Allocationand management of QS resources in consultation with ConstructionManager and Directors. Assist with theestablishing and monitoring of company processes in all departments Ensuring company documentation, filing and reporting systemsare correctly utilised with focus on constant improvements andefficiencies with the Construction team. Monthly overview andproject reporting with surveyors (check compliance, commerciality,performance of projects, monitor procurement to programme, tenderprocedures and delivery). Undertaking full reconciliation onproject CVR's and P&L responsibility within the given work stream,requiring the need to monitor and control financial performance Supporting the Construction Director in the budgeting processfor the construction arm of the group and providing financialforecasts on a monthly basis Policing delivery of requiredtasks to an agreed time i.e cost plans/budgets, sub-contract orders,payments etc. Contracts - ensuring Agreements/Contracts arein place for the company so that they are commercially protected /contract amendments are considered and agreed with others. Maintainingknowledge of current building contracts in use. Contractualmatters - Overseeing and advising/administering/agreeing on allcontractual matters on projects to fellow surveyors, Directors andassociated parties. Handling financial management of allassigned projects, ensuring budgetary compliance, management of debtand WIP. Prospecting & fostering Client relationships. Supporting, mentoring and coaching to the surveying team. Project responsibility, can provide a full surveying functionduring the coarse of any under going projects. Will exploreand compare potential savings where possible and look to feed backinto the design process to steer efficiencies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
