The group is looking to recruit an experienced Managing Surveyor/Commercial Director to jointly lead the construction team and work alongside the wider Aitch Group departments. The group's construction department is in the early stages of development with a good pipeline of work coming this year and into next. Key Responsibilities: Allocation and management of QS resources in consultation with Construction Manager and Directors. Assist with the establishing and monitoring of company processes in all departments. Ensuring company documentation, filing, and reporting systems are correctly utilized with focus on constant improvements and efficiencies with the Construction team. Monthly overview and project reporting with surveyors (check compliance, commerciality, performance of projects, monitor procurement to program, tender procedures, and delivery). Undertaking full reconciliation on project CVR's and P&L responsibility within the given workstream, requiring the need to monitor and control financial performance. Supporting the Construction Director in the budgeting process for the construction arm of the group and providing financial forecasts on a monthly basis. Policing delivery of required tasks to an agreed time i.e cost plans/budgets, sub-contract orders, payments, etc. Contracts - ensuring Agreements/Contracts are in place for the company so that they are commercially protected / contract amendments are considered and agreed with others. Maintaining knowledge of current building contracts in use. Contractual matters - Overseeing and advising/administering/agreeing on all contractual matters on projects to fellow surveyors, Directors, and associated parties. Handling financial management of all assigned projects, ensuring budgetary compliance, management of debt and WIP. Prospecting & fostering Client relationships. Supporting, mentoring, and coaching to the surveying team. Project responsibility, can provide a full surveying function during the course of any ongoing projects. Will explore and compare potential savings where possible and look to feed back into the design process to steer efficiencies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
