Commercial Electrician

Commercial Electrician | Kent & Surrounding Areas | Commercial Installations / Projects | �40-42K Base | �50-55K OTE | Permanent role with company van.

Are you an experienced Commercial Electrician / Approved Electrician? Do you have experience carrying out electrical installations / electrical project works within commercial environments?

Due to a large�contract expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Commercial Electrician / Approved Electrician to work as part of the large commercial projects / installations team.

You will be based from the companies Sevenoaks, Kent office, working on a mobile basis of up to 50 miles from your home address (Kent & Surrounding Areas).

Package, what is in it for you?

• Role: Commercial Electrician / Approved Electrician


• Status: Permanent, PAYE


• Pay Schedule: Monthly


• Basic Salary: �40,000 - �42,000 per annum.


• OTE: �50,000 - �55,000 per annum.


• Environments: Commercial - offices, datacentres etc.


• Works: Electrical Installation and snagging.


• Provided: Company van, fuel card, pension, phone, sick pay scheme, flexi benefits scheme�etc.


• Holiday: 25 days holiday + bank holidays (total 33 days).


• Paid overtime available: between X1.5 - X2 rate.


• NO call out.

Duties:

As a Commercial Electrician, your duties may include;

• Electrical installations: Wiring, re-wiring, sockets, circuits, trays, trunking, containment, cabling, single / 3 phase power supplies, lighting etc.


• Snagging to recent installation / project works.


• Testing and Inspection.


• Due to the nature of the environments, you will be working with equipment deemed as "critical", ie: UPS (uninterruptible power supplies), LV / HV switchgear etc.


• Driving the company van in a safe and professional manor.


• Working in a client facing role.


• Updating company / client system on work progression / updates.


• Adhering to company compliance / health and safety policy.

Requirements:�

To be consdidered for the role of Commercial Electrician / Approved Electrician, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be a qualified Electrician to one of the following standards of equivalent; City and Guilds 2360 Part 2, NVQ Level 3,�City and Guilds 2330 Level 3,�City and Guilds Electrotechnical Level 3 etc.


• ECS / JIB Gold Card is advantageous but non essential.


• Must be qualified to current 18th edition.


• City and Guilds in Testing and Inspection (ie: 2391, 2392, 2394, 2395) is desirable but non essential.


• Must hold legal right to work in the UK.


• Must have a UK driving license with under 9�points.


• Must have experience carrying out electrical installation works within commercial environments.
