You will delegate tasks and provide guidance to junior members of the team to support their ongoing knowledge and development. A key part of your role is to build your profile around the agency educating others to ensure their understanding financial processes and that these are adhered to. /p p strong What you can expect to be doing: /strong /p p strong Technical knowledge and specialism /strong /p ul li Work with the internal agencies to collate budgets throughout the year /li li Produce month end reports with a focus on Gross Income (GI) including preparing and reviewing the deferred income schedule and GI reporting documents /li li Run finance inductions for new starters /li li Attend monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings, providing analysis of the previous month’s performance, and challenge future performance /li li Work with the internal agencies running WIP meetings, monitoring any actions and challenging financials of the agency /li li Run regular commercial masterclasses and refreshers with the team /li li Produce and review monthly reporting for the network /li li Create trackers for agencies as needed e.g., for client spend /li li Produce ad hoc team, network and internal reports as required /li /ul p strong Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team /strong /p ul li Support junior members of the team by delegating tasks and providing guidance to support their development /li li Build your profile around the agency and liaise with our multidisciplinary teams so that they understand how and when to involve you and the rest of the Finance team /li li Be a sounding board for all team members regarding work-related challenges /li li Build strong, positive relationships and be a trusted point of contact for any queries, escalating where appropriate /li li Actively foster an atmosphere of positive working that allows creative and effective work to flourish /li /ul p strong Understanding and working with the agency /strong /p ul li Demonstrate thorough knowledge of our credentials and be able to confidently explain the agency's portfolio of services /li li Understand the roles and responsibilities of other agency departments and manage their involvement in projects appropriately /li li Ensure appropriate admin / briefing / scheduling procedures required by other agency departments are understood and adhered to at all times /li li Understand and contribute to the goals of Havas Lynx /li /ul p strong This role could be a great fit for you if you possess the following: /strong /p ul li You’re a qualified / part qualified accountant /li li Have month end experience including accruals, prepayments, and management accounts /li li Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills /li li Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial principles to non-finance colleagues /li li Excellent problem-solving skills /li /ul p strong What you can expect from us /strong /p p A supportive and challenging environment in which you will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact that matters.
