Commercial Gas Catering Engineer

Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Commercial Catering Equipment Engineer to join and strengthen our client's team.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday (overtime available), throughout the North East of England.

As a Commercial Gas Engineer your duties and responsibilities will be around Commercial Heating Controls and Installation. As such, you will:

• Carrying out maintenance inspections, repairs and servicing of commercial plant room equipment
• Attending reactive, diagnostic and repair calls to commercial gas appliances and plant
• Completing associated commercial gas certification documentation in line with industry requirements
• Emergency call out rota system in place

To be successful within this position, you will ideally be COMCAT's 1,3 & 5 qualified, and competent to work on all types of equipment that can be found in a commercial kitchen and food servery area. As well as being competent to work with all makes and types of gas & electrical commercial catering appliances.

• Commercial gas pipe work would also be advantageous
• Driving Licence (preferred)

Combined with a competitive salary depending on experience, you will benefit from a company van; 30 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays); double time on bank holidays, Sunday's, and after 12 on Saturday's.
