Winner Recruitment are currently working with a Innovative growing Service provider who focus on hard services within the Facilities management sector across commercial industrial and healthcare sectors. They are looking to recruit for a Commercial Gas Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in using various tools and equipment, in various working sectors. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.



Duties:




  • As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will Install, maintain, and repair all types of gas heating and plumbing systems in Healthcare sector

  • You will conduct regular inspections to ensure the safe operation of gas systems

  • As a Commercial gas engineer, you will diagnose faults in gas appliances and carry out necessary repairs.

  • You will assemble components as needed for various projects.

  • As a commercial gas engineer, you will need to understand, complete all work-related documentation accurately on time and to exceed the customers’ expectations.

  • You will collaborate with other tradespeople to complete installations efficiently.

  • You will maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

  • Always adhere to health and safety regulations.

  • You will at times have to work away during Mon-Thursday



Candidate:




  • As a commercial gas engineer you will need the relevant qualifications e.g. COCN1, MET1, CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW.

  • You must hold either OFTEC & LPG qualification

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.

  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fault find issues effectively.

  • A good general experience in working in occupied premises.

  • Clear communicator both oral and written.

  • A customer focused approach.
