Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive - Head of Department – 2 year PQE+Location: LutonPosition: Head of Department – Commercial LitigationExperience: Minimum 2 years PQEMy client is seeking a talented and driven 2+ PQE commercial litigation solicitor to head our clients new Commercial Litigation Department in Luton. This role offers a unique chance to lead and develop a new team with a ready flow of work and cases to manage.The team will handle a variety of commercial litigation matters, such as conflicts between shareholders and directors, partnership disagreements, commercial fraud cases, and contract-related disputes.Key Responsibilities:Lead and establish a new Commercial Litigation Department, setting strategy and vision.Manage a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including contract disputes, shareholder issues, and debt recovery claims.Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff within the department.Contribute to the growth and development of the firm's reputation in the commercial litigation sector.The Candidate:At least 2 years PQE in commercial litigation.Strong case management skills with a proven track record of handling a broad range of commercial disputes.Leadership qualities with the ability to build and develop a new team.Ability to provide a proactive approach to expand the department through business developmentBenefit:A competitive salary packagePension schemeCompetitive holiday entitlementChristmas closureParkingProfessional development opportunitiesSalary: £50,000 - £60,000This is a great opportunity to take a leadership role in a dynamic and forward-thinking firm.
