Commercial Management Accountant
SF Recruitment are working exclusively with a private equity high growth business in the recruitment of a Commercial Management Accountant.
Location: Stratford upon Avon

A new role due to growth of the business, this position will play a key supporting role in the FP&A team, working alongside the Sales and Legal departments to ensure they have the financial support to effectively drive the sales process, ensure finance charges are accurately represented in contracts and review commercials to mitigate financial risk wherever possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the overall forecasting process working closely with the Sales team to understand future opportunities and assess risk
- Support the timely and accurate production of budgets and variance analysis for the monthly management accounts
- Record accurately and analyse the actual bookings in the finance reporting
- Assist Account Managers to model and look at "what if" scenarios
- Provide financial support for Account Management when liaising with customers during the contract negotiation cycle
- Update contract finance schedules with pricing tables, updated finance models and commercial amendments
- Support the Revenue and Contracts team when analysing customer contracts and financial positions
- Provide insight and feedback in order to develop of the sales quoting process
- Assist preparation and review of new bids and pre-sales opportunities when necessary
- Full calculation of commissions and maintenance of the commission model
- Act as the finance lead / participate in CRM system projects as and when required
Requirements:
- 5+ accounting experience, preferably in a commercial role
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience
Skills Required:
- Experience of producing management reporting
- Experience of managing budgeting and forecast processes in a dynamic environment
- Very good communication skills, being able to communicate clearly, concisely, accurately at all levels
- Good decision-making capability
- Operational and commercial focused mind-set
- Strong finance system skills, including high proficiency in Excel and ability to assess finance systems and tools
