Job Title: Commercial Manager, Boutique HotelierBoutique Hotelier is a leading business titles for executives who are running some of the world’s most stylish and innovative hotels. It is owned and run by ITP Promedia, which is part of the much larger ITP Media Group that employs around 400 people in offices around the world. Currently, we have two editions, one focused on the UK, the other recently launched for the United States. Boutique Hotelier is a constant companion for the industry through its marketing leading website, digital news alerts, a monthly print magazine and events throughout the year including the Great General Managers’ Debate, Women in Boutique Hotels on International Women’s Day and the Boutique Hotelier Awards.We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial commercial manager who will take Boutique Hotelier in new and exciting directions including social media, video and podcasts, while growing the core business of advertising, sponsorships and event sales from our lively media office in London’s Clerkenwell.
Key Responsibilities:Source, develop, and maintain a new client base within the industry.Drive brand-new revenue by fostering relationships with prospective partners and clients.Pitch media solutions effectively to a diverse clientele, leveraging various platforms and products.Utilize features, events, and products to expand opportunities for new partners and clients.Create compelling presentations to enhance the sales process and engage prospective clients.Provide exceptional client service and deliver comprehensive post-campaign reports.Exceed revenue targets through professional pitching and high-quality presentations.Collaborate with the team to surpass client briefs and ensure alignment with editorial standards.Stay informed about industry trends and identify new market opportunities through professional contacts, events, and social media networks.Travel to visit clients and hoteliers with whom we treasure the deepest possible relationship.Requirements: Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience within the media industry, spanning digital, print, social, and events platforms.Strong leadership skills to develop and execute sales strategies effectively.Demonstrated ability to manage and nurture client relationships for long-term success.Proficiency in sales across various media platforms, with a track record of driving revenue growth.Experience in mentoring sales teams within the media industry to drive performance and growth.
