Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to oversee our financial management, IT runs cost management, strategy management, licence management, supplier management, and related IT policies. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial analysis, IT cost control, strategic planning, and supplier negotiations within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for various departments.
    • Conduct financial analysis and reporting, providing insights to senior management.
    • Identify financial risks and opportunities, implementing corrective measures where necessary.
  2. IT Runs Cost Management:
    • Oversee IT operational costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Work closely with the IT department to track and manage ongoing IT expenses.
    • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or performance.
    • Regularly review IT expenditure to ensure it aligns with the company's financial objectives.
  3. Strategy Management:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
    • Drive initiatives that support the company's long-term objectives and growth.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies and adjust as necessary.
  4. Licence Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all software and technology licensing agreements.
    • Manage the procurement, renewal, and tracking of software licenses.
    • Negotiate favourable terms with software vendors and ensure cost-effective licensing.
    • Maintain accurate records of all licensing agreements and related documentation.
  5. Supplier Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and manage any issues that arise.
    • Ensure the supply chain is robust, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  6. Related IT Policies:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all IT activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Promote best practices in IT governance and risk management.
    • Regularly review and update IT policies to reflect changing business needs and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent understanding of IT cost management and strategies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies.
  • Experience in licence management and ensuring compliance with software agreements.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
