Job Title: Commercial ManagerLocation: Remote (UK-based)Salary: Up to £60,000 per annumAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join one of the UK’s largest defence primes. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects within the Defence or IT & Outsourcing sectors. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in pre and post-signature contract management, negotiation, and drafting terms and conditions (T&Cs).Key Responsibilities:Lead commercial activities across various projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from pre-signature negotiations to post-signature implementation and ongoing management.Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure favourable outcomes for the company.Work closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and project teams, to ensure seamless contract execution.Provide expert advice on commercial risks and opportunities to senior management.Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to ensure long-term success.Monitor contract performance, resolving issues and implementing improvements as needed.Key Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Manager within the Defence sector or IT & Outsourcing sector.Proven experience in both pre and post-signature contract management.Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully closing complex deals.Excellent understanding of contract law and best practices in drafting T&Cs.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong time management and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
