Commercial Manager

Commercial Manager Role:

A major highways project with a Tier 1 main contractor who are seeking a Commercial Manager. The main contractor is one of the leading engineering companies in the UK specialising in highways projects and currently turning over more than �600m per annum.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a leading contractor on an extraordinary project.

Responsibilities (but not limited to) fopr Commercial Manager:

• Maximise cash flow through timely preparation of valuations, submissions of invoice and receipt of payment
• Develop a strategy for concluding client negotiations
• Monitor resources and costs to ensure that projects meet and or exceed targets
• Produce accurate and timely CVR reports, forecasts and contributes toward the setting of financial targets
• Carry out early value engineering activities ensuring all associated costs of change are included within the evaluation

Requirements for Commercial Manager:

• Quantity Surveying Degree-qualified or equivalent
• Experience working as a Commercial Manager or a Managing Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure projects. Experience on highways frameworks or projects will be advantageous.
• Ideally a member of RICS
• Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
