Commercial Manager
Location: South Yorkshire (Office based with national coverage when required)
Hours: 7.30am-4.30pm (45 hours per week) Monday-Friday, Full-time
Project Partners are now on the look out for an experienced Commercial Manager based in South Yorkshire who are ready to step up and bring in new processes and ideas.
The key purpose of this role is to drive the companies commercial offering by developing, planning and implementing strategies that align with business goals to promote growth within our portfolio of customers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead with Schedule of Rates (SOR)
- Implement and oversee all system processes
- Competently breakdown drawings to ensure that sales are captured in line with customers contractual terms
- Act as a conduit between Operations and the rest of the business
- Negotiating and overseeing contracts
- Pursuing new business opportunities
- Advising on key commercial issues
- Managing the day-to-day work and analysis required to support options evaluation
- Coordinating work products and activities across key internal stakeholder groups
- Delivery of Weekly Management reports to show turnover by contractor and analysis on performance.
- Actively working with Stores and Logistics to implement strategies that support agreed rate cards and business margins
- Ensuring Applications for payments are correct and on time to client submission status.
- Tracking CE's and ensuring all additional works are tracked and billed accordingly in line with NEC framework agreement.�
- Ensuring self-bill invoices to build partners are correct and signed off within agreed time frames.
- Working with the client to ensure all aspects of Commercials are covered.

- Commercial acumen and experience of using metrics for driving performance.

- Prior experience of operating as Commercial Manager
- A track record of achieving targets and KPIs through leading effective service delivery.
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
