Are you a passionate procurement manager seeking an established and highly reputable organisation to provide you with diverse exposure to further your strategic expertise? If so, this is the perfect position for you.
This industry-leading Construction organisation is undergoing significant expansion of its procurement function to facilitate the delivery of high-value capital work programmes across exciting complex projects and is therefore seeking a passionate procurement manager to join the team. You will be a lead stakeholder in driving strategic procurement decisions and end-to-end processes across multiple £multi-billion infrastructure procurement projects. You will be encouraged to challenge past processes and develop new innovative strategies to be implemented.
Each day will be different from the next where you’ll have the ability to apply your expertise to varying programmes and projects and across both short-term and long-term strategy creation, thus providing excellent opportunities for daily development alongside high-caliber individuals. Ambitious Procurement Manager responsibilities…
  • Drive best-in-class procurement strategy across the end-to-end procurement function, manage strategic sourcing activities, and ensure compliance with procurement regulations while encouraging innovation.
  • Lead high-value negotiations with key suppliers, manage pre and post contract processes, and maintain best practices to maximise procurement project delivery.
  • Lead on the delivery of infrastructure procurement projects through development of innovative strategies, ensuring alignment with programme goals, managing supplier performance, and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
Ambitious Procurement Manager requirements…
  • Strong experience driving strategic activities across the end-to-end procurement function and delivering complex procurement projects
  • Expertise surrounding pre-contract and post-contract management, ideally within NEC or JCT based contracting environments
  • Desire to drive relationships within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
