Department: CommercialReports to: Estates ManagerJOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:This is a key role in supporting LTN’s commercial aims to - Maximise the Estates revenue and recharges, Annual budgeting & financial modelling, Appraisals to support strategic investment projects, board papers.The Commercial Executive will be a key member of the LTN’s Commercial Estates team and lead on a range of initiatives to drive capital projects, financial performance, contract and recharge benchmarking. An integral part of Estates presentations to Executive Leadership Team, Board and shareholders.We’re looking for a highly analytical, driven, and enthusiastic individual who wants to make an impact. You will be joining a highly motivated team as we enter a new chapter of property performance.KEY TASKS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Managing all daily activities required to assist with all relevant projects and financial appraisals based on qualified data.Supporting the creation of the Estates budgets, forecasts and analysisOwning relationships with key internal and external partnersSupporting the implementation of a Revenue Mapping and income optimization across the Estate.Identifying and implementing improvements to the Estate.Assisting the Estates Team on a variety of projects and tasks including revenue generating tasks such as Access Agreements, utility pricing and recharging and new recharging and compliance led income opportunities.The Commercial Executive may also be required to actively participate in presentations & meetings on any reasonable request to meet the needs of the business, such as contributing to monthly Board papers and CAPEX processes.Principal Stakeholders : Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Estates, LLA Commercial Team, 3rd Party Partners & Advisors (External)Responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and colleagues in the workplace; supporting our journey to create an open and honest wellbeing culture at LLA.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:The ideal candidate is expected to hold some experience and knowledge in the following:Sound understanding of budgets, forecasting, revenue management systems and pricing principles and practices in a capacity constrained environment, preferably in the commercial property / utility sectorA working knowledge of the commercial property market would be an advantageA minimum of one year within an analytical roleHighly numerate and analytical; Comfortable writing reports and making succinct, data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholdersAbility to quickly slot into a high-performing, multi-faceted team that works at a demanding paceInfluencing key decision makers and communicating effectively at all personnel levelsIdentifying income opportunities, and implementing successful change initiativesPrevious experience within the travel industry, an airport environment / property industry business is highly advantageous.PERSON SPECIFICATIONCommercially minded; Highly numerate and literateHighly articulate, with strong interpersonal skillsLearning-obsessed, results and detail orientedSound influencer; Confident in gaining buy-in up to Board levelWell-organised, with ability to prioritise effectivelyAble to work successfully under pressureDemonstrates integrity, personal responsibility and credibilityA self-starter with ambition to progress, and determination to continuously improveConfidence in the use of all Microsoft office applications, particularly MS ExcelThis job description is intended to give an appreciation of the role and the range of duties and responsibilities to be undertaken.
