Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor

Salary: �40,000-�65,000
Hours: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week 8.30am-5pm

Purpose of the Role:
The Commercial Property Solicitor independently manages and makes decisions on cases relating to large site purchases and Landlord and Tenant law.��
Working on a variety of cases such as Commercial Secured Lending, Real Estate Developments and Landlord and Tenant negotiations, the Commercial Property Solicitor provides strategic litigation advice to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently handle a diverse, high-quality caseload with minimal supervision.
- Manage the disclosure of commercially sensitive information.
- Conduct legal research on case law, technical matters, and precedents to advance cases.
- Provide strategic litigation advice to the Head of Department and colleagues as needed.
- Ensure case files comply with internal and external procedures, as well as service level agreements.
- Monitor and deal with the management of information to all relevant parties in a matter.
- Engage in firm-wide and departmental training sessions.
- Achieve agreed-upon performance targets.
- Manage case files and workload efficiently to optimise cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills:
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales (or equivalent) with at least 4 years' experience in Commercial Secured Lending, Real Estate Developments, Landlord and Tenant negotiations, mixed-use and residential purchases with change of use options, and Land Acquisition.
- Strong background in legal research, case law analysis, and applying technical and legal precedents to complex matters.
- Experience handling a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced legal environment, prioritising competing demands, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to engage professionally with multiple stakeholders and handle verbal and written requests effectively.
- Proven ability to work within a team, contribute to shared goals, and manage multiple shared inboxes efficiently.
- Strong organisational abilities, including accurate filing, system management, and document preparation.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Skilled in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining professionalism.
- Solution-focused approach with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
- Strong listening skills and a friendly yet professional telephone manner.
