Commercial Value Creation Director/Operating Partner Mid Market Private Equity fund

THE SEARCH: Altus Partners are delighted to be partnering with a UK Mid-Market Private equity fund to find a Value Creation Director focused on Commercial Optimisation within the UK portfolio. The role sits at Director level and report directly into the Head of VCP. This will suit an ex Commercial Director within a PE backed environment looking to move into a Private Equity backed Value Creation role. THE ROLE: Core focus will be to support portfolio companies through improving sales, marketing and pricing effectiveness through close collaboration with management, other members of the VCP team. 40% of time will be spent on pre-deal assessment and 60% will be focussed on shaping and executing VCP initiatives The role will lead two direct reports with a view to increasing this capability over the next THE REQUIREMENTS: 10 years experience preferred. Experience of working in commercial/strategy consulting Commercial Management/Transformationnel experience within a PE backed environnent. Demonstrate a sound understanding of commercial activities such as marketing and pricing Strong preference for someone who has run a P&L previously Must be able to work autonomously/independently Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
