We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef for a busy country pub in the Hertfordshire area. Ideal candidate will have gained basic experience of working in a commercial kitchen�assisting�the head chef in preparing and presenting a�wide range of food. This role would suit someone who is looking to develop their experience and skills learning from the Head Chef.�
Job specification��
- Assist the chef with food preparation and presentation.�
- Perform basic tasks including chopping and slicing.�
- Follow recipe instructions accurately.�
- Always keep the kitchen clean and hygienic.�
- Communicate effectively with the head Chef.�
- Adhere to kitchen policy.�
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience of working in a commercial kitchen
- Access to a car essential due to rural location��
- Experience of food preparation�
- Able to multitask effectively.�
- Effective communication skills�
- High level of attention to detail�
- Passion for food and learning new skills.�
- Excellent work ethic�
- Be able to work under pressure.�
- Fundamental understanding of food hygiene procedures�
