Commis Chef

Interaction Recruitment have been requested to hire an experienced Commis Chef or Demi Chef De Partie to work a minimum of 35 hours per week at a local school.

Rota: 5 out of 7 days per week, 35 hours per week plus overtime, 52 weeks of the year (term time plus)

Salary: £12.76 per hour. Overtime paid in addition to your contracted hours.

Typical shift: 07:00-15:00 or 11:30-19:30.

Experience required: high volume, contract catering, school catering or hotel background.

Requirements:

• you should be a driver with access to a reliable vehicle due to site location
• you must have an enhanced DBS clearance before deployment
• you will have experience of working in contract catering or hotels or schools or for high volume events
• you could be a Kitchen Assistant or Catering Assistant or Commis Chef or Demi Chef De Partie looking for an opportunity to develop your Chef skills
• you'll need an indate L2 in Food Safety or be willing to complete the training again
• you'll be professional, adaptable, flexible and reliable
• you should have prior experience of working with fresh produce
