Field Based Commissioning Engineer Role

Alecto Recruitment Ltd is looking to hear from experienced Commissioning Engineers with experience in the power generation, CHP or diesel generation industries interested in working for a market leading supplier and as a field based engineer.

Working within the company Projects and Commissioning Team, this is a field-based role and will require travel all over the UK and possibly some overseas.

Job Summary:

• Responsible for the commissioning of MWM gen-sets and associated equipment.
• To carry out all fault finding (local & remotely) on installations, ensuring that all problems are closed out to the required quality standard.
• Work includes energy from waste sites, sewage treatment, AD farm sites etc.

Skills Required:

• Minimum qualification to ONC/D, NVQ level II or City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical/electrical discipline.
• Competent technician with considerable skills and in-depth knowledge of gas/diesel engines or Combined Heat & Power systems.
• Relevant commissioning engineer experience, PLCs experience etc.
• Full UK driving licence.

Salary/Package:

• Base Salary upwards of �40k subject to experience (40 hour week standard)
• Overtime not guaranteed but can sometimes be 15-20 hours additional (paid at overtime rates)
