About The Role
Morrison Energy Services is recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer to work on our UK Power Networks contractin South East England
As a Commissioning Engineer you will be part of our substation build team working on UKPN's 11kV, 33kV & 132kV Distribution Network. Your role will be toTest and Commission High Voltage Plant and apparatus onto the live distribution network integrating with existing protection schemes
MES is proud to be a key partner on the UKPN ED1SON Alliance Contract, deliveringsubstation build and refurbishment works across the East of England including design, project management, on site cable installation, building construction, jointing, switchgear installation, bunding, commissioning, decommissioning and demolition.
As the Commissioning Engineer your responsibilities will include: Provide technical support for the project teams
Where required attend Client progress meetings, pre-start meetings and client audits.
Encourage and integrate innovation and cost-effective working methods across the contracts
Identify and resolve design issues raised on site and conform to Distribution Network Operator standards
Provide technical support for projects at a concept stage to ensure robust, cost effective build solutions.
Produce detailed Commissioning Plans
