Commissioning Engineer


Location: Within 1.5-hour travel from Northampton, Bedford, or Milton Keynes  
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE  
Hours: 50-hour week with paid overtime after 11 hours/day and weekends  
Benefits: Private healthcare, pension, company car or cash equivalent (£6k), fuel card for personal use, 33 days of holiday including bank holidays


Our projects team manages LEV installation projects from start to finish, ensuring health and safety with certified engineers. We handle multiple installations across the UK.


Role Overview:


We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer. The Commissioning Engineer will handle the commissioning process for completed installations, ensuring systems meet performance standards as per HSG 258 guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:


- Commissioning Engineer will confirm mechanical and electrical performance.
- Commissioning Engineer will measure technical performance.
- Commissioning Engineer will prove control effectiveness.
- Commissioning Engineer will compile documentation like reports, manuals, and logs.


Qualifications and Experience:


- Commissioning Engineer should be electrically qualified with a CSCS card (training available).
- Commissioning Engineer familiar with Trend, Siemens, Schneider systems.
- Commissioning Engineer with BOHS W501 qualification is a plus.
- Commissioning Engineer with 18th edition certification is desirable.


Work Conditions:


- Remote-based with tools, laptop, and phone provided.
- Commissioning Engineer travels within a 1.5-hour radius.
- Overtime paid at 1.5x rate, 2x on Saturday PM and Sundays.
- Flexible interview process including phone and face-to-face interviews.
