Commissioning Engineer

An exciting new opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer is available with my client who are a leading provider of automated / robotic solutions for the automotive industry. Their ideal candidate will be mechanical biased with electrical knowledge. Proven field service installation and commissioning skills on automated plant. PLC knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
Commissioning Engineer role: The successful Commissioning Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for: Service, test and commissioning of my clients automated electrical / mechanical systems and equipment at customer sites UK and sometimes abroad. Achieve customer sign off acceptance within agreed time frames wherever possible Document and report to internal engineering team throughout test and commission process. Provide excellent customer training in line with expectations

Commissioning Engineer requirement: Qualified to ideally to HNC, Apprenticeship or equivalent in a mechanical discipline Strong mechanical engineering knowledge with some electrical engineering knowledge Automated plant installation and commissioning, ideally from within automotive or related industries.
