Compliance Lead



As a Compliance Lead, you will drive the implementation and enhancement of our compliance framework, ensuring adherence to both internal policies and external regulations. You will play a key role in managing compliance systems, monitoring regulatory changes, and educating business leaders on compliance requirements. Your expertise will help safeguard the organisation against risks while ensuring best practices in regulatory compliance.





What your role as a Compliance Lead will involve:




  • Managing submissions and calculations for regulatory requirements, including Climate-related Financial Disclosure Regulations 2022, WEEE, Hazmat, and Packaging Regulations.

  • Review and develop policies to ensure compliance with evolving legislation.

  • Assess business ventures for potential compliance risks.

  • Oversee compliance plans, controls assurance, and day-to-day management of the compliance system.

  • Conduct internal audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Advise internal teams and business partners on compliance program implementation.

  • Ensure marketing materials meet legal and regulatory standards.

  • Provide leadership and advice on compliance issues and incidents.

  • Collaborate with HR to enforce compliance regulations across the business.

  • Train cross-functional teams on compliance requirements.





To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:




  • Previous experience in a compliance or operations role.

  • Relevant regulatory experience (e.g., Privacy, RSE, AFSL licensing, etc.).

  • Understanding of risk and compliance principles and frameworks.

  • Proven ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels

  • Excellent commercial acumen and ability to understand the impact of regulatory changes on the business

  • Ability to analyse and interpret information quickly, with a critical problem-solving ability.

  • Experience in project management and risk management.

  • Some travel required to other sites
