We are currently partnering with a Housing Association, with a Head Office in Hertfordshire, who are recruiting for a Compliance Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Our client is a charitable housing association, operating in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, aiming to help people who need support and care or who cannot afford to buy or rent a home at market values.
This is a full-time position with a salary of £55,401 and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Developing and maintaining systems to identify compliance requirements, performance against standards and track the performance of any remedial actions required
Identifying evidence of the Association's compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across the business; monitoring and reporting on compliance
Making recommendations on changes required to strengthen the Association's internal controls and approach to compliance and risk management
Contributing towards the maintenance and development of the Association’s risk management systems and business assurance framework
Conducting audits and provide compliance advice and support across all functions of the business
Supporting compliance with Data Protection law through the provision of advice, logging and monitoring issues, and signing off Data Subject Access Requests
Experience required:
Experience in Social Housing is highly desirable
Working hours:
35 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
