Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:30

PAYE Rate: £11.50 per hour

Igloo are currently seeking Compound Drivers to work for our client in Peterborough. Our client is a world renowned automotive and logistics company, and successful candidates can expect to play an essential role in their operations.

Role Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

• Safely moving vehicles within large compound.


• Precisely manoeuvring vehicles into and out of workshops, as well as bay parking within the compounds.


• Handling a diverse fleet, from small family cars to high-performance and high-value vehicles.


• Operating vehicles with different transmission types, including manuals, automatics, and semi-automatics.


• Conducting vehicle inspections before movement to report any damages.


• Working outdoors in all weather conditions, while wearing car-friendly workwear and safety boots.

Desired Qualities:

We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities:

• Hold a full UK category B driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.


• Must have held your licence for a minimum of 3 years and be at least 23 years of age.


• Comfortable driving a variety of makes, models, and sizes of vehicles.


• Proficiency in both manual and automatic gearboxes is essential.


• Previous professional driving experience is a plus.


• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment.


• Demonstrates a keen eye for detail and a professional work attitude.


• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
