Compressor Service Engineer

Our client that has provided customers with high quality compressed air products and services for over 40 years, is now looking for a Compressor Service Engineer due to the growth of the business. Candidates will work across a variety of industries, supplying a wide range of compressed air and gas generation equipment, together with a comprehensive after-sales service and repair capability. In return, they are offering a salary up to �40,000, Company vehicle, Health Insurance and a generous holiday package of 33 days inclusive of bank holidays.

Candidates will be working at customer sites around Bedford for the majority of the time but will need to attend the Bedford site on occasions, they will need to be within a commutable distance.

Compressor Service Engineer Job Overview

• Report to Service Manager
• Perform diagnosis, planned maintenance and repair jobs on compressed air and gas generation equipment as required.
• Overcome problems and act as the Customer's trusted advisor on equipment
• Develop a positive, strong working relationship with our customers based on presenting a highly professional, technically capable and flexible approach.
• Continuing Professional Development.

Compressor Service Engineer Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 year's field service experience, with at least 3 years being in the compressed air industry.
• Provide own standard tools
• Full Driving licence

Compressor Service Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Salary: �35,000- �40,000
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with � lunch (42.5 hours a week)
• Overtime available
• Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH
