We're seeking an enthusiastic Computer Science teacher in Preston to inspire and teach KS3 and KS4 students. With a competitive daily pay ranging from £155 to £230, depending on your qualifications and experience.

You will be responsible for teaching the students and helping them learn the basics of coding, problem-solving, and understanding how technology works. You'll create engaging lessons that allow students to develop practical skills and explore the exciting world of computers.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum
• Punctual and reliable
• Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
• Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
• Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
• Set homework and mark promptly
• Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
• Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
• Respond to questioning

Personal attributes:

• You will have a genuine passion for teaching
• Experience up to key stage 3/4
• QTS/PGCE equivalent
• Be flexible and committed
