The Vacancy We have an exciting opening for a Technology Lead to join Fieldfisher Condor, based in Belfast. The successful candidate will develop and manage the set of technology tools that we use on client engagements and which we customise for our clients. We offer clients a wide-ranging suite of technology, and want to build the range and application of our products out further, in both breadth and depth. Building on the concept of an Application Portal, we want clients and partners to access our technology tools digitally and help them implement the technology in as efficient a manner as possible. Establishing and maintaining relationships with both Fieldfisher partners and our clients is an important component of the role, as it will help give an understanding of how technology can best work with them to increase quality, reduce time and improve outcomes. Delivering presentations, training and demonstrations to clients will also be a key component of the role. This position is a vital component of Condor's delivery, and involves providing oversight as well as physically delivering on Condor's engagements. The role reports directly to the head of the business and will involve working alongside project managers and other technology resources. Why apply? Working with clients and colleagues to understand client requirements Building solutions using the technology tools at our disposal, including AI powered data extraction software, legal opinion platforms, project management and workflow tools amongst others Building out new technology solutions with a direct P&L impact for the Condor organisation Taking the lead on technology initiatives and projects, delivering clear communication to all stakeholders and ensuring that projects are managed to completion Administration of all Condor project technology related requirements, maintenance and management of the secure client areas and information flows Working with Condor project managers to design and establish client reporting requirements for each client engagement Supporting clients in using Condor's technology and providing them with training on any of our solutions Requirements: Experience working with Legal Technology, possibly working as a paralegal on client matters A current understanding of, and interest in, the Legal Technology landscape Strong MS Excel skills, including macros, complex formulae and data analytics tools Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills Ability to work independently, with an aptitude for managing a small team Enthusiastic and confident with excellent communication skills A can-do approach, and a desire to get things finished Condor Fieldfisher launched its "Condor" Alternative Legal Solutions division in January 2017.
