Connectivity & Infotainment Test Engineer

Are you passionate about automotive technology and connectivity? We are seeking a Connectivity & Infotainment Test Engineer to drive the integration, testing, and validation of cutting-edge connected car systems. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of in-vehicle connectivity, infotainment, and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities of Connectivity & Infotainment Test Engineer:


  • Oversee and maintain test properties, including test rigs and vehicles for Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment, and Diagnostics.
  • Define system integration and test requirements, supporting validation planning to ensure successful system sign-off.
  • Perform flashing, coding, debugging, and root cause analysis on test benches and vehicles.
  • Plan and manage project-related activities, providing regular status updates and collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of system integration and testing issues, utilizing industry-standard tools to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
  • Develop and maintain specialist knowledge in requirement analysis, test automation, and test environment management.
  • Contribute effectively as part of a dynamic functional team to achieve project objectives.

About You:


  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in system testing and integration, including manual testing, reporting, and error management.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
  • Proficiency in tools such as ODIS, IDEX, VKMS, CP Tool, ADB, Ethernet, and MQTT.
  • Experience with vehicle log analysis (e.g., DLT logs, Ethernet/CAN logs).
  • Familiarity with VW, Audi, and Porsche ECUs and vehicle platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in debugging and diagnostics.
  • Ability to develop test automation frameworks (Python, Robot Framework, Anna Framework).

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • UK Driving License.
  • German language skills are a plus.
