Job Overview:
As a Construction Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and administering all aspects of construction projects. You will play a critical role liaising with project design teams, Site Managers and Engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
�Management of Subcontractors, cost control, and direct labour management.
�Supervising Project Managers, Site Managers and Engineers.
�Monitor contract compliance, ensuring that all parties meet their contractual obligations.
�Identify and manage potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate.
�Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve any disputes or issues.
�Determine labour and material requirements for each site.
�Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on contract status, risks, and financial performance.
�Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
�Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
Skills and Experience Required:
�Proven experience as a Construction Contracts Manager, Contract Administrator, or similar role in the construction industry.
�Driving licence.
�SMSTS.
�CSCS Manager card.
�Management qualification NVQ/SVQ of level 5 or above.
�First Aid at Work-3day course.
�Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
�Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
�Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
