Construction Contracts Manager

If you are a Contracts Manager looking for your next move, this role could be for you. The chance to be on the front-lines of the push towards net zero in the UK. An opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to join the team in the new Birmingham office. My client are one of the leading decarbonisation firms in the UK, pushing the design, development and delivery of offsite-prefabricated renewable energy systems for the commercial marketplace. The company has doubled in size in the past 12 months and is predicted to do the same in the coming 12-18 months, so this is a great chance to get on-board. Ideally, you will 3-5 years of experience in a similar construction or M&E based position. You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and have the ability to manage, develop and delegate work accordingly, whilst supporting the wider project team. The majority of current projects are UK/Ireland based, and you would be working in conjunction with an established commercial project management team using the latest Revit, AutoCAD & MEP 3D design packages. Experience of working in a construction or M&E environment is essential due to the nature of the projects being delivered. Handling multiple projects simultaneously, running at different times is also something you’ll need to be comfortable with. You will be managing the delivery of projects and projects teams from early design phase to handover. You will be supported by project managers, site managers and a series of selected supply chain partners. The package for this role is negotiable and will be more than competitive for the right candidate, and full details will be provided at application stage. This is an office-based position working 40 hours a week; Mon – Thur 08:00am –17:00pm, Fri 08:00am – 15:00pm.
