Astute's Nuclear team is exclusively partnering with the leading provider of nuclear support services in the UK to recruit a Construction Coordinator to ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site licence requirements across EDF sites.
The Construction Coordinator is essential to promote and maintain health and safety, motivate the site wide team through the implementation of best practice, plan and execute site wide services on a day-to-day basis and deliver services in scaffolding coordination, temporary works, painting and coating and more. The role comes with a salary up to �58,000, pension and more.

Responsibilities and duties
As the Construction Coordinator you will:
  • Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being implemented in support of a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site licence requirements
  • Ensure weekly & monthly reports are compiled by Area Leads and Consolidated and produced in a timely manner for upward review
  • Ensure resource to meet organisational requirements are available in line with the delivery schedule.
  • Ensure workstream leads deliver to KPIs (TBA)and where required implement recovery plans
  • Ensure the workstreams deliver on time, budget & quality, and reported as per the HPC requirements.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
  • Degree Qualification (or Equivalent)
  • Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering)
  • Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
  • Proven track record in nuclear power preferred
  • Experience working on major construction projects
  • Experienced in delivering and operating at a Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including experience working within Joint Ventures
