Construction Design Coordinator Location: Sheffield or LeedsSalary: Competitive, DOEContract: Full time, permanent. 37.5 hour working week; Monday to Friday.Inspiring Community Homes is a dynamic and innovative residential construction and development company dedicated to delivering housing solutions to the very highest standards.We are committed to delivering high quality properties in the Supported Living, Assisted Living and Social Housing Sectors, making a positive impact on the communities we serve.We are currently seeking a talented, dynamic and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to support our team in the development of new residential projects.The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating design-related activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of design services, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.If you have a passion for design, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.As our Design Coordinator your responsibilities will include: Coordinating and leading the design process for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of design servicesCoordinate with designers, architects, engineers, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaborationAssisting in the preparation of design proposals and coordinationDevelop and maintain accurate project timelines, checklists, and reportsEnsure compliance with company standards, regulations, and industry best practicesManage and maintain project documentation, including design files, meeting minutes, and correspondenceConduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intentIdentify and resolve design-related issues promptly and professionallyIn order to be successful in this role you must have: Architectural or a construction related degreeExperience in a design coordination or related role in the construction industryStrong understanding of building regulations and industry standardsExcellent organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise multiple tasksStrong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsAttention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentationAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesThis job advert is not eligible for sponsorship and candidates require the right to remain in the UK.If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on “APPLY” today!
