Construction Equipment Supervisor's Wanted
Temporary to Permanent, PAYE Opportunity (12-Week Working Trial).
Starting Salary £17-Per Hour (Equivalent Basic Annual Salary of £37,500).
Realistic Bonuses and Overtime Available On Top (OTE £40,000+).
All Weekend Work Paid at Overtime Rate.
Minimum Contracted 42.5-Hours Per Week - Core Hours 9am to 5:30pm, Mon to Fri.
Travelling Across The UK to Various Construction Sites Using Company Vehicle.
You will be the Lead person responsible for a two-person team, reporting directly to the Contracts Manager in charge of each specific contract, responsible for the work on site, required to liaise with clients, take responsibility for all aspects including safety, equipment, site discipline, administration, and communication. On some occasions you may be responsible for multiple teams.
Role:
- On arrival at site, assess / measure the job and report any deviation from RAMS or scope to Contracts Management prior to commencing works.
- Ensure team(s) have appropriate PPE for the specific job (Compliant to RAMS) and they comply with H&S and regulatory rules whilst working for the company.
- Ensuring that site operations start on time and run continuously throughout the day, maximising available work time.
- Ensure that routine reporting is carried out accurately and reports sent in on time including Daily Diary Sheets, Daily Measures, Time Sheets and Delivery Notes, trainee assessment forms etc.
- Take ownership of the red file(s) ensuring that the site requirements / RAMS / measures are fully understood and signed off accordingly.
- Take ownership and sign for the equipment supplied by the workshop against the SECL and ensure that it is all accounted for and / or returned at the end of the job.
Essential Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Leadership experience in construction equipment sector.
- Physically fit and able to handle the manual nature of the work.
- Hands-on, can-do attitude, to get the job completed within timeframe deadlines.
- Able and willing to work away from home across the UK.
- Able and willing to work in a range of diverse and dirty environments.
- Mechanically minded, experience of using basic engineering tools and equipment.
- Drugs and alcohol tests required on every job.
- Full clean UK car driving licence (DVLA Check will need to be completed).
- Must be eligible to work full-time permanent role in the UK.
- No visa sponsorship available.
- Must be able to communication in English (written and verbal).
- Must have own transport to get to Head Office in rural Hampshire.
