This role requires strong civil engineering expertise, site management experience, and familiarity with NEC4 contracts. You'll manage early-stage works, design integration, and key stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Principal Contractor under CDM 2015 regulations, overseeing Temporary Works.
- Assist the Project Manager with scheduling and planning.
- Maintain strict health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Manage risks, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Lead construction teams and subcontractors to meet project goals.
- Oversee tender evaluations and control construction budgets.
- Report progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
- Support during commissioning phases and lead construction meetings.
About You:
- Experience in EPC projects under NEC4 contracts, with a focus on civil/construction.
- Utilities experience and ideally within Gas.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects in the Oil & Gas industry under CDM 2015.
- HND/C or higher in construction/civils.
- Strong knowledge of Process Safety and formal assessments like HAZID/HAZOP.
- Certifications: CSCS, SMSTS, SHEA Gas, Temporary Works Coordinator.
- Desirable: SCO 91, APMP accreditation.
