Construction Manager - Battery Storage - Remote - UKJD Ross are partnered with a large scale investor owner and operator who expanding their presence in the UK. They have gained significant backing from a leading renewable energy firm and are focused on the energy sector and the energy transition.This business specializes in investing into all stages of a renewable energy project from early stage development to ready-to-build projects. They have construction-stage projects in the UK already, and are looking for a Project Manager to support them with their projects. These projects include both Solar and battery energy storage.The business is building out their UK delivery team to support, and they are seeking professionals with strong Solar/BESS experience.A project manager will:Work with the senior team to lead the coordination of multiple Solar / BESS based projects.Lead end-to-end project engineering management.Coordinate and manage project resources, including internal team members and external contractors, to ensure efficient project execution.Collaborate with engineering teams to define project requirements, technical specifications, and system integration plans for Solar and battery energy storage systems.Conduct risk assessments, monitor project progress, and implement effective mitigation strategies.Maintain and update project plans and manage documentation.Assist the technical team in getting the projects ready for operations.Benefits include:Competitive base salary + discretionary bonusHybrid workingPrivate Healthcare8% Pension contributionThis is a role that I am excited to speak with experience renewable energy professionals about.
