Location: Maidstone
Rate: Circa £500 p/d (Inside IR35)
Duration: 12-18 Months

We are seeking to enhance our Construction team with a Construction Manager located within the Mid Kent region ,attached to a large Clean Water capital delivery site.
In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for overseeing Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability protocols, ensuring that all construction activities comply with established standards.
Primary Responsibilities
·Oversee and direct on-site construction teams within assigned portfolios to ensure project delivery within the approved budget and timeline; lead project initiation meetings and conduct health assessments.
·Monitor supplier performance regarding Safety, Timeliness, and Quality, including the evaluation and approval of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure adequacy.
·Take charge of Constructability Assessments, Project Rehearsals, and Fit for Assembly approvals, fostering innovation and exceeding performance expectations when possible.
·Promote a culture of zero waste and a commitment to reducing embodied carbon throughout construction processes.
·Ensure that site teams promptly communicate any relevant contractual and commercial notices to the wider Project Team.
·Collaborate with the Lead Construction Manager to identify both short-term and long-term resource requirements (including labor, equipment, and materials).
·Achieve full compliance with Health & Safety standards, ensuring that team members feel secure every day and are encouraged to voice safety concerns.
·Implement a combination of standard practices and innovative techniques to uphold our status as leaders in the industry.
Candidate Profile
Skills and Experience
·Experience and qualifications in Temporary Works.
·Proven Project Management background.
·qualification in a construction-related field.
·APMP or similar certification.
·Significant experience in large-scale construction delivery projects.
·Background in the water/wastewater treatment sector.
·Proficient in managing and overseeing Project Programmes.
·Familiarity with CDM regulations and construction Health & Safety protocols.
·Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and end users.
·Results-oriented with the capability to establish and achieve targets.
·Experience in managing and inspiring cross-disciplinary teams to meet time, cost, and quality goals.
·Possess strategic, operational, technical, and management skills with a strong commercial acumen.
