Due to sustained growth, Contract Scotland are working with a reputable specialist sub-contractor based in Glasgow to source an experienced Construction Manager to join their senior leadership team.
This well-established contractor delivers a range of high-quality building envelope solutions, with a specialism in roofing and cladding. They've enjoyed successful growth in recent years and are looking set to increase their turnover again in 2025. As Construction Manager, you will play a key role in driving this success; coordinating all day-to-day operations, leading a team of Contracts Managers, developing and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects ranging from £5k to £1m in value.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Leading and supporting a team of Contracts Managers, ensuring effective coordination, guidance, and project delivery.
- Taking overall responsibility for day-to-day operations, with full oversight of contracts, ensuring quality, budgets, and timelines are achieved.
- Coordinating multiple projects across Scotland.
- Working closely with the Managing Director to align on business objectives and priorities; contributing to the strategic growth and operational success of the business.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Have a strong background in Construction or Operations Management within the construction industry.
- Have proven management experience within the roofing and cladding sector or in main contracting.
- Have demonstrable experience overseeing multiple contracts and project teams simultaneously.
