Construction Manager

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the construction of a large scale steel frame industrial development. You will manage all aspects of the project life cycle, from planning and resource allocation to execution and completion, ensuring high standards, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and delivery of industrial shed construction projects.
• Coordinate with design teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and resolve issues to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including preparing and reviewing RAMS.
• Manage project teams and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Attend client meetings, providing regular updates on progress, budgets, and time-lines.
• Review and manage project documentation, including drawings, QA, and progress reports.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing construction projects, particularly industrial sheds or similar large-scale structures.
• Strong knowledge of steelwork, cladding, and other industrial construction methods.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and a proactive approach to ensuring site safety.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Viewpoint, Asta, or similar.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver exceptional results under pressure.
• A valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
