Construction Project Manager

Hays Construction are currently recruiting for Construction Project Manager.This is a permanent role with projects around the Yorkshire area. The current projects are mainly industrial and commercial schemes.As Project Manager you will work closely with the Operations Director overseeing all aspects of construction phases ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.Your first project will likely be the £20m extension to a premium brands manufacturing facility with a state of the art industrial unit to be built. there is an experienced Site manager and Quantity Surveyor already in place.The opportunity would suit a seasoned Main Contractor Project Manager with some civil/industrial build knowledge, or an Senior Site Manager ready to take that step up with the full support of the DirectorsResponsibilities:• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.• Manage project resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of workmanship, addressing any issues promptly.• Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle.• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards at all times.Qualifications5+ years of experience in construction project management,Strong organisational and project management skillsIndustry knowledge and ability to read blueprintsDetail-oriented and strong communication skills
