Construction Site ManagerHS2, Birmingham Contract: Permanent, full-timeIndustry: Infrastructure, civil engineering, railRenumeration:Competitive salary + attractive benefits package, including:Travel allowanceLunch allowancePrivate health insurance6% pension contributionWe are pleased to be supporting our client, a worldwide leader in the construction industry, in their search to secure an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of structure works on a large-scale HS2 site in Birmingham.You will join a Tier 1 leading civil & infrastructure specialist with 70 years’ experience, focused on planning, developing and executing some of the largest and most reputable infrastructure projects in the UK.If you have experience on major high-value project delivery in railway, complex structures (RC, bridges, viaducts), please read on:Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising and planning the Pre main works Foundation & Structure construction, and the short-term site works (utilities, deliveries, installations, etc)Checking and keeping records of delivered material, ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the RAMS, daily record progress.Management and coordinate subcontractor’s works and associated documentation, ensuring effective use of materials and control of waste.Produce 1 week look ahead detailed programs.Monitor the relevant construction works.Essential: Construction Site Manager NVQ Level 4 (or similar)Have demonstrable good managerial, motivational, planning, team building and leadership skills.SSSTSCSCS CardFirst AidFire MarshallTo apply, please send an updated CV directly to the advertisement.
