Job Title: Construction Solicitor (Non-Contentious) Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland About the Role: Are you an experienced Construction Solicitor with a passion for non-contentious work? We are partnering with a top-tier law firm in Belfast, renowned for its excellence in the legal industry, to find a skilled solicitor to join their esteemed construction team. Key Responsibilities: Advise on and draft a wide range of construction contracts, including JCT, NEC, and bespoke agreements. Provide expert legal advice on procurement strategies, project delivery methods, and risk management. Assist clients with contract negotiations, ensuring terms are favourable and compliant with industry standards. Support clients through the lifecycle of construction projects, from initial planning through to completion. Work closely with other legal teams within the firm to provide comprehensive advice on related matters such as real estate, finance, and dispute avoidance. Stay informed of industry developments, legal updates, and best practices in construction law. About You: The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 2 years PQE in non-contentious construction law, with a strong focus on contract drafting and advisory work. In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and risk management within the construction industry. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex legal documentation and negotiations. A client-focused approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships. A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
