Consultant Cardiologist with a Special Interest in Coronary InterventionNHS Lanarkshire - University Hospital WishawApplications are invited from motivated and highly enthusiastic individuals for the post of Consultant Cardiologist with a specialty interest in coronary intervention. The successful applicant will join our existing team of five consultant cardiologists at the University Hospital Wishaw.The cardiology service is centered on a well-equipped department at UHW with a focus in the Ravenscraig Cardiology Suite. This post also enjoys strong links to the Joint NHS Lanarkshire Coronary Catheterization Laboratory, based at University Hospital Hairmyres (UHH). The successful applicant will take a full share in the NHS Lanarkshire PPCI rota and will have regular catheter laboratory sessions of elective and urgent coronary angiography/PCI. This post also includes a commitment to the UHW’s cardiology services including input to daytime coronary care, cardiology inpatient care, and outpatient services.We are committed to providing an enjoyable and rewarding working experience at UHW and support flexible working where possible.
