Ecology Consultant Role Description

As an Ecological Consultant at this environmental consultancy, your role will involve conducting thorough surveys to identify and protect legally protected species, in addition to creating ecological reports. Your exceptional communication and teamwork abilities will be crucial as you collaborate with clients, experts, contractors, and the community, fostering strong professional relationships both internally and externally.

Ecology Consultant Requirements

• BSc or higher in relevant subject essential
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Substantial relevant experience
• Ecological field skills covering a range of protected species and habitats
• Understanding of ecology and nature conservation legislation
• Experience with writing PEAs and EIAs
• CIEEM membership
• Protected species licences
• Motivation to work towards FISC (Level 3)
