We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our healthcare team at HMP Belmarsh. HMP Belmarsh is a category A Prison located in South East London, close to Plumstead and Woolwich Arsenal stations. The prison houses around 675 patients with a variety of needs including complex and acute mental health. Within this role, you will be working collaboratively with the integrated mental health and forensic psychology team to support a number of high profile patients across our outpatients and inpatient ward services.
We are looking for a dynamic Psychiatrist who can adapt quickly and build a rapport with both officers and patients.
Hours: This is a part-time role working 2 days/16 hours per week. Working days can be Monday - Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.
Salary: This position is part-time; you will receive an annual salary up to £190,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
