Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Container Unloader in Colchester, Essex.
This is a flexible, ad-hoc role where you will be responsible for unloading containers and performing various warehouse duties.
The position involves physical tasks, and candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting and fast-paced work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and quickly unload goods from containers, ensuring that items are handled with care
• Sort and organize goods as they are unloaded, ensuring the warehouse remains tidy and well-organized
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Handle various types of loads, including heavy lifting, in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the safe movement of goods
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard

Requirements:

• Ability to work on ad-hoc shifts as needed, including weekdays
• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting heavy items
• While prior experience in a warehouse or container unloading role is a plus, it is not required. We are open to applicants willing to learn
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential

Pay and Hours:

• �11.44 - �12.21 per hour
• Weekdays, with ad-hoc shifts available between 09:00 and 16:30. Shift times may vary depending on the needs of the business.
