X4 Technology are partnered with one of the world's largest energy trading organisations who are offering the opportunity for a Business Analyst (Gas Trading Analytics) to join their team on a contract basis, with a day rate of £700/d+ inside IR35.Working within energy trading, the successful Business Analyst will be working specifically on gas trading analytics projects. This is part of a multi-year programme transformation that impacts systems which process over $1bn of trades every month, so is a unique opportunity to make a highly visible and influential impact in the fast-paced world of Trade Execution. Responsibilities of the Contract Business Analyst (Gas Trading Analytics)Responsibilities will include working with Traders to identify and document requirements around gas trading analytics; working with IT stakeholders and technical teams to determine feasible solution options; and actively managing the requirements through the end-to-end solution delivery lifecycle, ensuring effective deployment into production and user readiness/uptake.Requirements for the Contract Business Analyst (Gas Trading Analytics)In order to be successful in the role, we're looking for a Business Analyst who can demonstrate the following:Proven Business Analysis experience within energy/commodity trading firmsVery strong knowledge of gas trading (and ideally the analytics that sit around this)Good understanding of agile software development and deliveryDetail orientatated with a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solvingDemonstrable examples of owing projects from cradle to grave Outstanding stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, especially when working with time-poor TradersThe client are looking to line up interviews in late June and early July, so if you're an experienced Business Analyst with deep domain knowledge in gas trading and a passion for delivering large scale projects with significant scope and impact, please apply online for immediate consideration,
