Are you a Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical or Electrical background, looking for a new opportunity to manage a contracts team and work with a portfolio of impressive clients? This company is a tight-knit, long-established business that maintains pumps, pipework, and plant rooms, working with blue-chip clients in and around London, as well as smaller clients locally. They are looking to take on more tenders with the help of the right person, who can oversee contractors working on multiple projects across the business.
This diverse role is split between visiting sites and working from the office. It involves creating quotes, liaising with clients, and managing and signing off on contractors' work. Part of the week will be spent at the head office in Rochester, drawing up plans and completing administrative tasks, while the rest will be spent on-site in and around the outskirts of London.
This role would suit someone with an Engineering or Construction Contract Management background, looking to take on a new challenge. You will work alongside a project manager to support the growth of the company and develop your own career.
The Role
* Supervising contracts across multiple projects.
* Signing off on work completed by contractors.
* Maintaining and creating client relationships.
* Regular visits to survey sites.
* Procurement of materials.
The Person
* HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other relevant qualifications.
* Mechanical or Electrical background
* Commutable to Rochester
